When he joined Boxer+Gerson in 2016, Warren A. Pulley brought with him 20 years of legal experience. For 15 of those years, he enjoyed tenure as principal founding partner of Pulley & Cohen in Oakland — where he was named Attorney of the Year by the Workers’ Compensation Section of the State Bar of California in 2012.
Warren’s breadth of experience includes representing hundreds of injured workers as well as the interests of self-insureds, carriers, and third-party administrators. He frequently serves as a lecturer and panelist at legal and trade association conferences around California.
At his undergraduate alma mater, the University of San Francisco, he was a Presidential Scholarship recipient and active with numerous boards, campus groups, and student body offices. He was similarly active in many campus organizations while earning his J.D. at Creighton University School of Law.
Today, his community engagement continues in a variety of civic groups, to which he devotes significant amounts of his spare time. Among them is 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, where he serves as chairman of the scholarship program.
