After graduating with top honors from University of San Francisco School of Law, Jason Knox started his career representing insurance companies and employers in workers’ compensation cases. During this time, Mr. Knox became a Certified Specialist in workers’ compensation law and built a practice focused on advocating for clients in complex and high-value cases. Through his work, Mr. Knox gained a deep understanding of the problems injured workers face in the system and saw firsthand how the burdens often fall heaviest on them.
Born and raised in San Francisco in a family with deep roots in the labor movement, Mr. Knox believes strongly in personal responsibility, justice, and service to the community. As these values conflicted more and more with his previous career, Mr. Knox felt a profound sense of duty to become an advocate for injured workers. He is thrilled to join Boxer+Gerson, where he can now serve as a guide and ally for people navigating the confusing workers’ compensation system in California.
